To use a Mac for online purchases, it must be Touch ID enabled or have your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch on hand. Which KEMBA card will I be able to use with Apple Pay?
KEMBA cardholders will be able to use their favorite KEMBA Credit and Debit Cards. Whichever KEMBA card you have in your wallet, you’ll be able to add to Apple Pay.

How do I change my default card to my KEMBA card?
The Credit or Debit Card associated with your Apple ID or the first card you add to Passbook® is your default card. To change your default card:

  • Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
  • Tap Default Card.
  • Choose a new card.

Can I use multiple KEMBA cards with Apple Pay?
Yes, you can load up to eight cards on older devices and up to 12 on iPhone 8 or Apple Watch 3 and newer devices.

Will the card image in Apple Pay match my physical card?
In most cases, yes. However, in some cases the card in Apple Pay will not match your physical card. In these cases you will see an image of a card with our KEMBA logo on it as a symbol of your card.

Are my payments safe with Apple Pay?
Yes, when using Apple Pay, your KEMBA card number isn’t stored on your phone or given to the merchant. A unique Digital Account Number (token) is created specifically for that device. Additionally, you will be required to use either your fingerprint with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Face ID, or a secure passcode to complete a purchase.

Is my privacy and personal information protected?
Yes, Apple Pay doesn’t store your Credit or Debit Card number on your device; you never reveal your name, card number or security code to merchants.

Why am I being asked to call KEMBA to verify my card?
If your Apple ID account address does not match the address we have on file for your credit card, you may be prompted to call us for verification as a final step before enrollment. Please call the number provided so we can verify your card, then look for a Wallet message letting you know that your card is ready for use with Apple Pay.

Where can I use Apple Pay?
You can use Apple Pay at more than 220,000 locations. See a list a complete listing of Apple Pay merchants at You may also look for these Apple Pay symbols at the checkout.

How do I get a refund for something I purchased with Apple Pay?
You’re able to make a return for a purchase made with Apple Pay to your account. Upon return, you may be asked to provide to the cashier the last four digits of your Device Account Number instead of the last few digits of your Card number. To find the last four digits of your Device Account Number for your Card, go to Wallet, tap the card and then select.

What if my KEMBA card is lost or stolen?
Please call us immediately and mention that you’re an Apple Pay customer. We’ll cancel your card so that no more purchases can be made. You should also remove the lost or stolen card from Wallet using the “Remove Card” option. When you receive your replacement card, you will need to add the new card to Apple Pay before making any Apple Pay purchases.

What happens when my card expires?  When I receive my renewal card will I have to update Apple Pay with the new expiration date?
When a KEMBA card enrolled in Apple Pay expires, you will need to remove the old card from the Wallet app and add the new card information. While it is not mandatory to remove old cards, doing so will prevent you from accidentally attempting to pay with a card that is no longer valid.

Can I opt out of Apple Pay at any time?
Yes, adding your Credit or Debit Cards to Apple Pay is your choice; you can add and remove cards when needed. To remove your cards, go into “Settings,” open “Wallet & Apple Pay,” select the card you want to delete and tap “Remove Card.”

Will I still earn rewards and benefits from my credit card when I pay using Apple Pay?
Of course, you will! You’ll still get all the benefits and protections that your KEMBA rewards Credit Card provides. If you currently earn rewards on purchases, you’ll continue to earn them for purchases made with Apple Pay.

Can I use other cards besides my default card to make purchases?
Yes, just tap on the stack of cards at the bottom of the screen to view your other cards, select the one you would like to pay with and use your fingerprint or passcode to complete the purchase like normal.

I’m having a problem with my device’s software or hardware. What should I do?
If you’re having difficulty with your software or hardware, please Contact Apple.

If I sell or give my Apple device to someone else, what will happen to the information on my device?
When selling or giving away your iPhone 6 or other new Apple product you should make sure you delete all digital accounts in Apple Pay. You may also reset your phone to factory settings which will also remove all digital accounts. If for any reason, you have forgotten, contact a KEMBA representative and we will be able happy to assist you with this.
