Quicken Automatic Transaction Synchronization Not Available with KEMBA Digital Banking

As of November 8, 2021, KEMBA accounts will no longer have automatic transaction synchronization to the Quicken platform via Express Web Connect or Direct Connect. However, integration options are still available with Web Connect.

With Web Connect, you can manually download a file from KEMBA’s Digital Banking platform and upload it into Quicken to reconcile your transactions. Please note you cannot perform this action from the Mobile App, only desktop. To do so, follow these steps:

1) Log into Digital Banking on Desktop.
2) Choose the account you’d like to reconcile
3) Select “Download” in the Transaction History on the Account Detail

  • 18 months of history can be downloaded
  •  Select “QFX” for the file type, which is compatible with Quicken

It’s important to note that none of your information will be lost when automatic transaction synchronization to Quicken is disabled. For technical assistance about using Quicken, Web Connect, and it’s other related services, please visit their support center here.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Questions?

For more information, please reference the below FAQ section.

Can I use Quicken to download KEMBA Digital Banking activities?

  • Yes. Members can download account activity from Digital Banking to Quicken using Quicken Web Connect. Web Connect allows you to manually download a file from KEMBA’s Digital Banking platform and upload it into Quicken for each account.
  • Quicken Express Web Connect and Direct Connect automatically download transactions into Quicken, and KEMBA does not support these options at this time.

Can I use Quicken Direct Connect with KEMBA Digital Banking?

  • As of November 8, 2021, KEMBA will not support Direct Connect; however, you can use Web Connect.

What is Web Connect and how do I use it?

  • Web Connect allows you to download your transactions from Digital Banking, launch your Quicken software and reconcile your transactions.
  • Since you’re downloading your transactions manually from Digital Banking into a Quicken format (QFX), you don’t have to enter each transaction manually in Quicken.
  • To use Web Connect, follow the following steps:
    • 1) Log into Digital Banking using Desktop
      2) Choose the account you’d like to reconcile
      3) Select “Download” in the Transaction History on the Account Detail

      • Up to 18 months of history can be downloaded
      • Select “QFX” for the file type, which is compatible with Quicken

Can I use QuickBooks with Digital Banking?

  • As of November 8, 2021, KEMBA does not support QuickBooks automatic transaction synchronization software.

Why aren’t my KEMBA account transactions showing in Quicken?

  • There are a few possible reasons:
    • There are special characters in your account nickname. Characters, such as &, @, $, *, will prevent Quicken from updating.
    • There were no transactions in your account for the given time period. This is often the case with CDs.
    • You changed your KEMBA Digital Banking password and forgot to update the information in Quicken.
    • For more detailed information about using Quicken, please visit their support center here.

Why doesn’t KEMBA support all of the Quicken services?

  • On November 8, 2021, KEMBA is launching a new Digital Banking platform that Quicken automatic transaction synchronization is not compatible with. However, you’re still able to upload your transaction history into Quicken, QuickBooks, or Mint by downloading a .OFX file. We apologize for the inconvenience, but look forward to bringing you new and enhanced features within Digital Banking.
