Kiera’s journey began at Bowling Green State University, graduating in 2013 with a BS in Education, Individualized Studies. Whilst growing up in a close-knit community, developed a passion for helping others; through her membership with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and various organizations on and off campus, Kiera was able to partner with larger entities such as the United Way of Wood County and Goodwill for outreach initiatives that would help to bridge the gap between the university and the community. These efforts have shaped Kiera into the dedicated community partner that she is today.
Kiera began her career with KEMBA in 2019 as a Member Service Representative (Personal Banker) and stepped into the role of Financial Wellness Partner in March of 2022. Since joining the team, Kiera has organized and coordinated over 350 events that have allowed KEMBA to serve its communities by offering financial education and other resources through philanthropic initiatives throughout the Columbus Metropolitan area. She has also established partnerships through other companies and organizations, allowing the credit union to continue empowering people to become financially self-sufficient and helping to improve their overall well-being. Today Kiera continues to put people first by serving on the board of the Columbus Chapter of the Inspiring Minds youth organization and seeking out opportunities that will allow KEMBA to make meaningful change in local communities.

David Whitesides serves as a Financial Wellness Partner at Kemba Financial Credit Union. David works closely with local businesses and community organizations to develop Select Employer Group (SEG) programs and lead initiatives that promote financial literacy and wellness. With a strong focus on empowering individuals with practical financial knowledge and access to personalized solutions, David plays a key role in Kemba’s mission to support the financial well-being of both employees and community members.

David has over eight years of experience in the financial industry, including five years in sales. He also holds a deep commitment to service and community betterment, shaped by his three years in the U.S. Army as an infantryman, including a combat deployment to Iraq. His unique background allows him to connect meaningfully with people from all walks of life, and champion financial education as a powerful tool for long-term stability and success.
