African American Male Wellness Walk

August 12

Annually, the agency engages AA males in over 16 U.S Cities (Columbus, OH, DC, Atlanta, Charlotte to name a few). We have been able to develop a strong presence with AA men through our innovative grassroots strategies allowing us to connect with men who likely would not participate in health programming.

Latino Festival

August 12 - 13

Festival Latino offers lively music, dancing in the streets, cultural and arts workshops for children and adults, Latin-American cuisine, and community information tents. Over the years, Festival Latino has continued to flourish and grow in the number of performing artists, workshops, vendors, participating community groups, and audience.

Taste of Gahanna

August 27

The 26th Annual Taste of Gahanna aims to showcase the vibrant culinary scene in the Gahanna community with a carefully curated a diverse lineup of restaurants and vendors. In addition to the wide sampling of food, guests can enjoy a night of live music and drinks while mingling with community members and friends.

ALS Walk to Defeat

September 10

The Walk to Defeat ALS is the number one way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS. Each year, fundraising through the Walk drives bold and urgent innovation as we march together toward a cure for ALS.

Grow and Glow Community Festival

September 10

Open House and tours of the beautiful new building - Minerva Park Middle School. Celebrate our students, educators, and community organizations, and support important initiatives happening in our schools.

Creekside Hops & Vines Festival

September 16

Sample 50+ drinks from local breweries, wineries and distilleries! Plus, enjoy complimentary food from local restaurants and live entertainment from Wet Bandits, and more!
Your attendance empowers the Foundation to support the Gahanna Parks & Recreation Department and activate its mission of improving the quality of life for the City’s residents through access and utilization of its parks, recreational facilities and programs.
