KEMBA is committed to providing educational resources and tools to enable individual success...we invite current and rising college students to take advantage of this scholarship opportunity!

Before submitting an entry, please review the official promotion rules located here. By submitting an entry you expressly agree to the terms of the Official Rules.

How to Enter:
The Video Contest will accept entries between April 8, 2024 and May 10, 2024 (the "Promotion End Date"). All entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on May 10, 2024 to be considered. You may enter the contest by uploading a video that meets the following requirements and answers the questions below.

Create a video detailing an achievement you’re most proud of, and why. Specifically answer:
  • How has it impacted, or influenced, your community and/or school?
  • How does it relate to fostering inclusivity, cultural awareness, and or understanding?
  • How has this experience helped shape your career goals?
  • What opportunities will your career path provide you to continue to positively impact, or advocate for, your community?

Requirements:
  1. Video submission must be less than 2 minutes in length.
  2. Video must answer the Video Questions above.
  3. Video must be uploaded to YouTube and made public, link must be shared in the form below to be considered.
  4. Your video submission may be posted on KEMBA's publicly accessible Facebook page and may be used in various promotional announcements from KEMBA, up to and including social media, and all other applicable uses.
  5. Video must be in good taste, and not contain profanity or inappropriate messages and/or imagery. Such content will void your entry.
  6. Video submissions must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on May 10, 2024.
All videos that meet these requirements will be automatically entered into the Video Contest. One entry per participant. Winner must be a KEMBA Financial Credit Union member by May 10, 2024 to receive the award. Many will enter, a few will win. Children under age 18 years of age may only participate in the contest under direct guidance and supervision of their parent or guardian who has accepted these rules on their behalf.

Submission photos, videos or other content may be used for promotional materials and publications outlined in the user content release form.
 
Who Can Enter:
The Promotion is open only to individuals who are KEMBA Financial Credit Union members, on or before May 10, 2024, in good standing that are legal permanent residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding, without limitation, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law), at least a high school senior, enrolled or attending an accredited two year community college or a four year college or university, a full-time student (taking at least 12 or more credit hours) for the 2024/2025 school year, and 13 years of age or older. Additional exclusions can be found in the Official Rules. 

How to Win:
The KEMBA team will identify the 4 winners based on originality and creativity in conveying your message, as well as content. We encourage original thinking, for example: put your answer to music, act it out in a one-person show, or even get some of your friends and/or family involved.
Winners are subject to eligibility requirements in the Official Rules. Your odds of winning vary depending on the number of entries received. Limit one scholarship entry per member.
What you Win:
Four (4) winners will each earn a $2,500 prize. the $2,500.00 scholarship will be issued directly to the applicant's school.
After confirmation of registration and acceptance at an accredited two-year community college or a four-year college or university with 12 or more credits or units in classes, award checks will be issued directly to the applicant's school. Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with prizes. Please see Official Rules for full prize details.
